Radio Control Car Fun!

By Team Principal on Sat November 3 2007

Many years ago, I had a collection of radio control cars, stuff like the Tamiya Subaru Brat, Vanessa's Lunch Box and the Tamiya Hornet I think, plus a very fast nitro powered Kyosho Corvette ZR1.  These got forgotten when I discovered real cars and other, more human-based joys, but I have often thought it would be fun to build another car and have a blast every now and then.

Can F1 Learn Anything From NASCAR?

By Team Principal on Mon October 15 2007

Being British, NASCAR is not a motorsport that I have had much contact with, but ever since one of my favourite F1 drivers, Juan Pablo Montoya left F1 and joined NASCAR, I have caught some YouTube clips and browsed some news sites about it.  Since then I have wondered if I was missing something, as all I saw was lots of cars driving around an oval track, with little sense that anyone was pushing the envelope in terms of performance or 'on-the-ragged-edge' racing.  Yet, the grandstands were heaving with fans?

By Team Principal on Tue December 5 2006

How can you resist a website that features the above advice on its front page? Yes, seatcoversunlimited really does offer customers this option as they sell, unsurprisingly, seat covers for a lot of different cars. Organised by manufacturer, US customers can happily select their car and choose a seat cover to their taste.

Road Safety.

By Team Principal on Wed October 18 2006

Living in Greece means that I see some of the worst driving in Europe, with politeness and consideration coming low on the list of priorities for the average motorist.  If you live in the California, USA however, it seems that new drivers must take some serious courses before becoming a learner driver.  Using the services of this website allows new drivers to take these tests at their own pace and from their own home, making a further trip to another school at the end of the day redundant.
