F1 2007 Australian Grand Prix Race.
As Lewis Hamilton steered his McLaren around Nick Heidfeld and team-mate Fernando Alonso after being squeezed out, passing the pair of them at the same time in turn one, lap one of the Australian Grand Prix; it was clear that much hyped new boy was going to live up to expectation for the duration of the race. Some 18 laps later, as race leader Kimi Raikkonen pitted, he even led the race for a while.
How I Miss A-Race-A-Fortnight.
Yes, I know the F1 calendar was released ages ago and we could all see the odd dates that the first five races would occupy, and yes, I understand (partially) the reasons it was like this, and finally yes, I realise that it's still the same amount of races as always. However, I had no idea how this would affect my feelings towards the sport. The worrying part is if it affects mine, how does it affect the causal viewer?
