Williams-Toyota 2007

After an age of speculation, it's been confirmed that Toyota will be powering next season's Williams cars. I think this is good news for the struggling team, as their engines have been strong in their own car (less so in the Midland's though) and Williams knowledge of building a championship winning car may make the combination a formidable one.

German Grand Prix Qualifying

Interesting! Kimi Raikkonen takes his first pole position this season from the clutches of Michael Schumacher, with Fernando Alonso down in seventh place. Could this be the first exciting race at Hockenheim? Obviously, for the sake of keeping the championship alive it would be good to see Schumi take the win with Alonso still in seventh or worse and judging by McLaren's race pace recently, this is a distinct possibility.

USA F1 Grand Prix Qualifying

After last years blow out, it looks like we have a proper race on our hands at Indy this year. Ferrari have been talking up their chances all week and judging by Schumi's excellent performance on Saturday, this was not just hot air. The fastest man in sessions two and three, Michael sits on pole with team mate Massa next to him. Alonso sits fifth.
